1. Noun
Person, Place, ThingA noun is a word that functions as the name of a specific object or set of objects, such as living creatures, places, actions, qualities, states of existence, or ideas.
Types: Proper, Common, Concrete, Abstract, Collective
Example: London is a beautiful city.
2. Pronoun
Replaces a NounA pronoun is a word used in place of a noun or noun phrase to avoid repetition and make sentences smoother and more natural.
Types: Personal, Possessive, Demonstrative, Relative
Example: Sarah is tired because she worked late.
3. Verb
Action or StateVerbs are the heart of sentences. They describe what the subject is doing (action) or the state of being the subject is in.
Types: Action, Linking, Auxiliary (Helping)
Example: They play football and are very athletic.
4. Adjective
Describes a NounAn adjective modifies or gives more information about a noun or pronoun, telling us which one, what kind, or how many.

Connects Words/ClausesConjunctions join words, phrases, or clauses together. They allow us to build complex, flowing sentences instead of short, choppy ones.

8. Interjection
Expresses EmotionAn interjection is a word or phrase used to express sudden or strong emotion (surprise, joy, pain, excitement).
Common: Wow!, Ouch!, Oh!, Hey!, Alas!
