1. Talking About the Past: Simple vs. Continuous

Past Simple
Subject + V2 (ed)Used for completed actions at a specific time in the past.
Regular: I worked late yesterday.
Irregular: She went to the store.
Negative: They didn't play football.
Past Continuous
Was/Were + V-ingUsed for actions that were ongoing at a specific moment in the past.
Affirmative: I was watching TV at 8 PM.
Interruption: I was reading when he called.
Question: Were you sleeping?
2. Future Plans: Will vs. Going To
Understanding the difference between instant decisions and prior plans.
