Passive Voice in Present and Past Simple

Lesson 10: Passive Voice (Present and Past Simple).

1. Overview
Shift the focus from who is doing an action to the object receiving the action using the Passive Voice.

2. Structure
- Present Simple Passive: [Object] + [am / is / are] + [Past Participle (V3)] (e.g., English is spoken worldwide).
- Past Simple Passive: [Object] + [was / were] + [Past Participle (V3)] (e.g., This website was built by a freelancer).

3. Practice Exercise
Change the active sentence to passive:
1. Active: People speak Arabic in Morocco.
Passive: Arabic _____ in Morocco.
2. Active: He wrote the application in 2026.
Passive: The application _____ in 2026.
