Mixed Conditionals
Lesson 4: Mixed Conditionals.
1. Overview
Bridge past actions with present consequences, or present states with past results, using mixed conditionals.
2. Type 2 Result of a Type 3 Condition
Connecting a past condition to a present consequence:
If + [Past Perfect], [would + base verb]
- If I had learned to code earlier, I would be a senior developer today.
3. Type 3 Result of a Type 2 Condition
Connecting a continuous present state to a past outcome:
If + [Past Simple], [would have + Past Participle]
- If I spoke fluent English, I would have landed that international remote job last year.

Complete the mixed conditional sentences:
1. If she _____ (study) computer science at university, she would work as an engineer now.
2. If I knew how to fix this network issue, I _____ (resolve) it hours ago.
